What do mourning doves eat?no panic?

You might go to some place like Petsmart and get a pound or two of dove or pigeon mix. This is a seed mix especially made for them . It contains proteins in form of dried peas and other goodies. Some large feedstores would probably sell small amounts also. If the babies are feathered out they will grow very fast and be gone in a short time.
